How to wear sew in weft hair extensions?

Step 1- Hair extensions must be applied to washed clean hair. Part your hair in desired area where extension needs to be applied.

Step 2- Divide your hair into sections horizontally from ear to ear, creating a top and bottom section. Clip the top section away to keep it separate.

Step 3- Take a thin section of your natural hair from the bottom section and braid it tightly against your scalp. This serves as the foundation for sewing in the extensions.

Step 4- Measure the weft hair extension against the back of your head, from one side to the other. Cut the weft to match the width of the section, leaving a small amount of extra space on each end.

Step 5- Thread a needle with a strong, matching thread. Starting at one end of the weft, sew through the weft and the braided section of your hair, going from one side to the other. Secure the weft by looping the thread around the braid and knotting it tightly. Repeat this process along the entire width of the weft, sewing it securely to your braids.

Step 6- Please Note: Take care of your sew-in hair extensions by washing and conditioning them regularly using mild, sulfate-free products. Avoid excessive heat styling and use heat protectant products to prolong the lifespan of the extensions.

How to Remove Weft Hair Extensions?

Step 1- Gather a pair of small scissors, a seam ripper, and a wide-toothed comb. These tools will help you safely remove the sew-in extensions.

Step 2- Begin by identifying the thread used to sew in the extensions. It is usually a different color from your natural hair and may be visible near the roots of the extensions. Using the small scissors or seam ripper, carefully cut the thread along the weft of the extensions. Take your time to avoid cutting your natural hair.

Step 3- Once the thread is cut, gently pull the weft away from your natural hair, starting from one end and working your way to the other. If the weft is tightly sewn, use the seam ripper to carefully undo the stitching.

Step 4- After removing each weft, use a wide-toothed comb to gently detangle any knots or tangles that may have formed during the removal process. Start from the ends and work your way up to the roots.

How To Wash

1. Comb your hair with a wide-tooth comb.
2. Wash your hair extensions with warm water and sulfate free conditioner.
3. Wash your hair by holding gently. Do not rub your hair.
4. Comb your hair extensions with a wide-tooth comb from the bottom to the top of the hair extensions.
5. Gently hold the hair with your hand and squeeze the water.
6. Beat the hair with a towel until the hair is dry.

Kindly Reminder: Please do not use colored shampoos (such as purple shampoo), to wash very light colored hair extensions. Because this may stain the hair extensions.
